This life size sculpture was commissioned by the Salvation Army to honor Joan Kroc for her generous donation, which allowed the Kroc Corp Activity Centers to be built nationwide. Providing opportunities for educational, artistic and spiritual growth in underprivileged neighborhoods. This monument depicts Mrs. Kroc holding a dove, which represents the gift, to two children who are in turn feeding and touching the dove in acknowledgment of the wonderful opportunity she presented.
